Little John’s Grave
In Hathersage’s st. Michael’s Church grave yard lies Robin Hood’s dearest friend Little John.
Little John’s Grave has been placed here because some people have said that he came from around Hathersage.
You’re probably thinking, ‘how do we know that Little john is under there?’ … well … we don’t know for sure, what they found was a very big thigh bone that looks about 32 inches tall!!
FUN FACTS
Little John was just his nickname he was actually 7 foot tall!
Robin Hood met Little John on a bridge on a brook and from there on is Robin Hood’s tale.
